A fascinating career
Erika Cool, born in Brussels, Belgium, has always been governed by a love of the artistic world. Her career began in cinema in the 1970s, in an environment that was often considered controversial at the time. She was able to navigate this complex world while maintaining a fluid creativity. Strongly influenced by her art training in the Netherlands, she then moved to Paris to realize her ambitions in the world of fashion and entertainment.
Her stint in Belgian erotic and pornographic cinema left its mark on her time, but her talent revealed itself far beyond this framework. Erika has collaborated with many renowned directors, bringing a unique touch to each project. Her performances, often intense and memorable, have made her an iconic figure, admired by her peers and audiences alike.
Brigitte Lahaie, another icon of the genre, is one of the people with whom she has forged a special bond during her career. Their friendship developed as they moved through the complex ecosystem of auteur cinema. Together, they embody an era when erotic cinema began to claim a certain artistic legitimacy.
The evolution of her career
After leaving the world of cinema in 1979, Erika Cool took a surprising turn by retraining in real estate. It may seem an abrupt change, but Erika has always known how to adapt and reinvent herself. In this new field, she confronted certain memories from her past, sometimes in connection with malicious competitors who referred to her former performance.
